Our Story

80+ Years of Forest Stewardship

Established in 1943 under Maryland law, the Harford County Forestry Board is one of 24 county forestry boards, charged with advising local government, supporting conservation, and connecting residents with resources to steward the land.

The board operates in close partnership with the Maryland Forestry Foundation (MFF) and the Maryland Department of Natural Resources (DNR) Forest Service, backing local action with statewide expertise.
